Detainee in Canberra’s jail test positive to COVID-19 | ABC News

The ACT has recorded 15 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases, nine of which spent time in the community while infectious.

One of today’s cases is a detainee at the Alexander Maconochie Centre who tested positive yesterday.

Chief Health Officer Kerryn Coleman said detainees, staff and a police officer who had been in contact with the positive case have been identified and are receiving support from ACT Health.
